Cerebral Rot has undergone a grotesque transformation, reemerging as the even more loathsome Corpus Offal. Lead guitarist and vocalist Ian Schwab and guitarist Clyle Lindstrom have revitalized their sound alongside new members Jesse Shreibman (Bell Witch, Autophagy) on drums and Jason Sachs (ex-Demoncy) on bass. Retaining the core songwriting essence of Cerebral Rot, Corpus Offal blends foul decrepitude and bludgeoning subterranean weight with a sickly goregrind presence that engulfs their music.Their recent 2-song demo, released in 2024, has already garnered positive acclaim, setting high expectations for their next chapter.
The highly anticipated upcoming album, recorded and mixed by Billy Anderson and mastered by Dan Lowndes, is set for release in 2025. Fans can expect a collection that deepens the band’s heavy, suffocating sound while exploring darker, experimental territories.
In support of the album, Corpus Offal will embark on tours in Europe and North American, highlighted by their performance at Maryland Deathfest 2025, promising to deliver their horrifying musical vision to audiences eager for a visceral live experience.
